Clinasyst Version 3.0
Thank You to our customers for all your suggestions. We value your ideas,
and we believe that ClinAsyst 3.0 responds to your needs, and reflects our continued
commitment to excellence in supporting the clinical trials management industry. Here is a
summary of the programs new features.

Site Schedule is easier to use.
- new view shows all physicians and coordinators with their
specific appointments
- Clinasyst will create multiple appointments for a patient's
visit, one for each person performing procedures.
- reserve resources such as exam rooms for appointments
- click and drag appointments from one time
to another, from one day to another, or from one provider to another
- enter meetings, vacations, or any type of appointment
- Schedule and Appointment Reports can be printed directly from the Site Schedule
screen.
- Maintain more than one location
The following new Master Tables have been added:
- Location: maintain multiple visit
locations for your site
- Resource: maintain resource types such as
exam rooms, then enter the specific resource. e.g. Exam Room 1
The following Master Tables have been enhanced:
- IRB: added phone number and e-mail fields
- Provider:
new
Scheduled tab allows users to enter the default availability
for providers that need to be scheduled.
- Recruiting Source: Now users can enter a recruiting
source type, and enter beginning and ending dates.
- Procedures: now the users can add a resource type to
particular procedures. e.g. Physical Exam - Exam Room
Patient Master: Additional phone numbers have
been added. New Family History tab allows users to enter prior family
medical history.
Studies
- Study Master includes a new IRB
Approval field
- Visit Schedule: the users can define how a visit is
scheduled between the providers performing the procedures.
Example. The coordinator may be needed the first 30 minutes, and
the next 15 minutes need to be scheduled for the physician. When Clinasyst
schedules the visit for a patient, the appointment times will be reflected
appropriately.
- Study Regulation Contact History tab has new Consent feature.
The users can create a re-sign consent procedure at the
patient's next visit or create an unscheduled visit with a re-sign
consent procedure.
- Study Regulation report tab has a new Form 3455 report
and new Form 1572 format.
- Study Tracking: users can enter study tracking records
with warning options and messages. If a warning exists, it will display
each time a patient is enrolled in a study.
Recruitment
- Medical History as option to select by date ended or not
ended by.
- Recruitment has been enhanced to allows users to save a
recruitment session, load it at a later time and re-run it.
- Recruitment Reports give user option to print a header page
with the recruitment criteria summary.
- Recruitment Tracking: New Clinasyst
feature that can track patients as they call for studies. Users can
track the recruiting source, date, time, recruiter, and user-defined
tracking status.
- Recruitment Tracking Reports: Allow users to determine
which recruiting sources are working the best for particular studies or
study types.
Utilities
- New
Archive feature on Utilities menu has study archive, link, and
unlink feature that users to save an archived study in standalone
database.

feature allows users to view archived studies
- Unlink
feature returns user to original Clinasyst data
